Terror

[This is something I wrote after the 9/11 incident. Though it has been ages now since that fateful day but I still feel this piece remains very much relevant.]

The skies were trembling down and deep

The crapers were down on their feet

The crying everywhere was clear and loud

The hell hath come out from the clouds

Someone asked – ‘Was it the Armageddon?’

Some prayed – Have mercy, O Lord

Some brave tried to help the saved

But what everyone knew and acknowledged –

Was that terror had hit and hit HARD.
